The Brazilian 100% electric car market is still growing. In the first half of 2025, 30,483 units were licensed, up 33% over the same period of 2024. Despite this, the total market share is still modest: 2.5% of light vehicles sold in the period.
The offer is almost fully formed by imported models, especially from China and Europe, as the country does not yet produce bevs locally. Brands like BYD, GWM and Stellantis have factories announced for electrified models, but the first results of these initiatives should appear a little further.
