The week on Netflix is ​​full of unmissable premieres, mixing humor, action and psychological suspense. A series is based on the novel “Destiny of the Republic”, by Candice Millard, and follows professor and congressman James A. Garfield (Michael Shannon) in his rise to the presidency of the United States, seeing the position as an opportunity to reform the political system after the Civil War and promote justice in public service. At the same time, anguished young idealist Charles J. Guiteau (Matthew Macfadyen) — who initially admires him but later blames him for his frustrations — plans an explosive revenge.

During Garfield’s short tenure, his wife Lucretia “Crete” Garfield (Betty Gilpin) struggles to protect her husband’s family and legacy, while Vice President Chester A. Arthur (Nick Offerman) prepares to take on an unexpected role.

2. Bad Genius: The Series (06/11)

The series tells the story of brilliant high school students who discover the fragility of a system of exams and become the architects of a sophisticated network of deception. The series of animation serves as a prelude to the film “The Bad Guys”, exploring the group’s first steps into the world of crime.
