The film began filming this summer in Madrid and on the island of Lanzarote. According to information from Varietythe film should premiere in Spanish cinemas in 2026, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Spainfollowed by a streaming release on the platform Movistar Plus+.

There is still no official confirmation about distribution in the United States, but it is expected that Sony Pictures ClassicsAlmodóvar’s regular partner, assumes the rights. The cast brings together prominent names in Spanish cinema, such as Bárbara Lennie, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Victoria Luengo, Patrick Criado, Milena Smit e Quim Gutierrez.
Check out the film’s synopsis: “Elsa, an advertising director, loses her mother during a long December holiday. To avoid grieving, she immerses herself in work, until she suffers a panic attack that forces her to slow down. Her partner Bonifacio becomes her emotional support in this difficult time. In search of relief, Elsa travels to Lanzarote with her friend Patricia, while Bonifacio remains in Madrid.”
In Spain, the film arrives in March 20. In the United States and Brazil, distribution has not yet been confirmed.
