A Christmas Carol | Rupert Grint, Daisy Ridley and more are in the film

According to information from the Deadline, Rupert Grint, Sam Claflin, Charlie Murphy, Arthur Conti, Daisy Ridley e Ellie Bamber will be in the cast of Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, which will star Johnny Depp.
The Depp version, a gripping ghost story set in Dickens’s London, follows one man’s supernatural journey to confront his past, present and future and fight for a second chance. Although unconfirmed, sources say Grint will play Bob Cratchit, Scrooge’s selfless employee. It is unknown who the other actors will play.

It is worth remembering that the Warner Bros. is also making its version of the book, with Robert Eggers commanding the adaptation, which must rely on Willem Dafoe not Scrooge’s role.
The film will be produced by Paramount and has You West (Pearl, Maxxxine) in the direction of the feature. The script is being written by Nathaniel Halpern (Tales From the Loop) e Andrea Riseborough would also be in the cast.
The film is expected to be released on November 13, 2026.
