Horror is alive, very much alive, at times not dead, and fighting together with us. Horror is vital, very vital, especially in the last 12 months. Months that have shown us how this genre, which is much loved by a hard core of enthusiasts, but which is capable of conquering increasingly larger sections of the public, enjoys excellent health and, as it always has, is still and increasingly capable of describing – without intellectualism or moralism – the world around us, the characteristics of contemporaneity.
