Mads Mikkelsen confirms Rogue One script was “unfinished” during filming

During an interview with Variety, a special video released on the YouTube channel, the actor Mads Mikkelsen confirmed that the script Rogue One: A Star Wars Story it was “surprisingly unfinished”, that is, following the example of the MCU, where the actors work, but with the script still being revised and reworked:

“The script was always changing. We thought it was ready. I don’t think they ever finalized a draft. I think they kept working on it, improvising, going back and reshooting some things. And then they had a better idea.”
