Avatar 3 cast frustrated by lack of recognition at awards shows

The debut of Avatar: Fire and Ashthe third installment of the franchise directed by James Cameron, arrives in theaters surrounded by expectations and an off-screen debate: the lack of recognition for the saga’s performances, especially in the most prestigious awards in the film industry.

The saga was recognized especially in the technical categories of the main awards. Although the first two films competed for Best Film at the Oscars, they never won statuettes in the acting categories.

Actors’ frustration

Avatar: Fire and Ash expressed his confusion and discouragement at the low appreciation of his interpretive work. The actress Oona Chaplin expressed: “It’s a shame!”, referring to the absence of awards for acting, according to statements gathered by SensaCine.
