If 2025 already looked promising to the cinema, the first half of the year confirmed all expectations – and even exceeded some. Of the blockbusters awaited the surprises that came out of nowhere, many films have reached the big screen conquering not only the audience but also criticism.

And to separate what is really worth it, we are based on one of the most respected thermometers of seventh art: Rotten Tomatoes.

Next, you can see the 10 of the best films released in 2025 so far, according to the evaluations on the site (without specific order). Get ready for explosive spying, provocative scientific fictions, superheroes and even vampires in the 1930s. It has everything-and the best: approved by critics!

10 – Thunderbolts* (88%)

A team of MCU anti -heroes – Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Ghost, Taskmaster, John Walker and Red Guardian – is gathered urgently by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. After falling into a deadly trap, the misfits need to work together on a dangerous mission that makes them face the trauma and choices of the past.

Thunderbolts went through theaters and soon will be released on Disney+.

9 – Mission Impossible: The final hit (80%)

Ethan Hunt and IMF face a lethal AI known as “The Entity,” which has infiltrated global systems. The plot unfolds like an international hunt with new allies, intense action and twists as they try to prevent the destruction of humanity.

Mission Impossible: The final hit will be launched in Brazil for digital rental soon and is already pre-sold at Prime Video.

8 – Extermination: Evolution (88%)

Thirty years after the original outbreak of the anger virus, a group of survivors who is in isolation on an island seeks ways to coexist with the infected ones. By resuming contact with the continent, they face highly cognitive infected and need to adapt their survival strategies.

Extermination 3 went through Brazilian theaters recently and will be released on streaming later this year.

7 – Perfect escort (93%)

During a weekend in a country house, friends discover that Iris is not human, but a sophisticated android who developed homicidal behavior. Merging terror, suspense and comedy, the film explores romantic idealizations, gender relations and the limits between human and machine.

6 – Premonition 6 (92%)

The university student Stefanie is chased by a recurring violent nightmare and returns to her hometown to find who could break this curse. From there, she needs to prevent the imminent death of her family, entering the spiral of deaths that we are already used to seeing the horror franchise.

The PREMONICATION 6 feature is now available online for digital rent. The feature film should reach HBO Max in the coming months.

5 – Mickey 17 (76%)

Based on Edward Ashton’s book Mickey7 and directed by Bong Joon Ho. In 2054, Mickey is an exndable – disposable clone on mission to colonize Niflheim. Each time it dies, it is reprinted. In the seventh reprint, Mickey 17 becomes the target of some experiments, survives deadly encounters with native creatures, and faces existential dilemmas, memories and identity.

Mickey 17 is now available online and can be watched at HBO Max.

4 – Warfare: Tempo de war (93%)

Directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, the film portrays a Navy Seals platoon on a surveillance mission in Iraq on November 19, 2006. The narrative, based on real -time testimonies, occurs in real time, emphasizing the chaos of modern war and the sisterhood bonds between soldiers.

Warfare: War time is available to watch the Prime Video catalog, which has a free 30 -day test.

3 – Predator: killer killer (95%)

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg and Joshua Wassung, Predator: Assassin killer was one of the biggest surprises of 2025, delivering an accurate animation and an exciting story. “Three of the fiercest warriors in human history become victims of the greatest killers killer,” says the synopsis of the work, which heats up the engines for the Predator’s launch: Badlands.

2 – F1 (83%)

Sports drama directed by Joseph Kosinski, with Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former F1 pilot who returns to help save the fictional team Apex GP. Throughout the championship, he partner with young Joshua, faces trauma of a past accident and internal team conflicts. The climax is in Abu Dhabi, with realistic race scenes, romance and redemption.

1 – Sinners (97%)

Directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan. Set in the 1930s, in the southern US, sinners follow two brothers who inaugurate a social club and face a vampire invasion. The feature features several surprises throughout its duration, as well as impactful cultural references.
