Rachel McAdams Crash Lands On Island In Sam Raimi Thriller
20th Century Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Send HelpSam Raimi’s darkly comedic horror thriller starring Rachel McAdams (Spotlight) and Dylan O’Brien (Twinless) on which we were first to report in July 2024.
The trailer introduces McAdams as Linda Liddle, an undervalued and disrespected employee who winds up stranded with her terrible boss Bradley Preston (O’Brien) on a deserted island after the pair emerge as the sole survivors of a plane crash. On the island, the two must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it is an unsettling and darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
The trailer sees the initially mild-mannered Linda turn the tables on an injured Bradley, asserting dominance over him as the person with real survival skills.
Slated for release in theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026, Send Help is based on an original script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Baywatch). Raimi produced alongside Zainab Azizi under Raimi Productions, with JJ Hook (The Amateur) exec producing. The film’s cast also includes Edyll Ismail (To Brea), Dennis Haysbert (Far from Heaven), Xavier Samuel (Elvis), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Thai Cave Rescue) and Emma Raimi (Happy Pills).
