Veterinarian in ‘Caramelo’, Arianne Botelho talks about preparing for the film and connecting with animals

“I also took training classes with Luiz and Jeová Estrelas, who are Amendoim’s tutors and owners of the Estrelas Animalis school, focused on training. And there I learned how to deal with dogs, bathe them, groom them, walk them, train them. Furthermore, I also built my character at home, with the tools I usually use and study. I had contact with some shelters, talked a little about their routine and there I was sure of the importance of this character and the film as a whole, of visibility for the animal cause and the importance of adoption”, he adds.
