Casio’s ‘Back to the Future’ watch is back with a retro design

From another time. In a market that innovates in smaller spaces of time, retro always finds a niche in the hearts of the most adults, and Casio knows this well. Therefore, within the framework of the 40th anniversary of the science fiction film ‘back to the future‘, has prepared a surprise for fans.

This is the calculator watch that Marty McFly wore on his wrist, preparing an official reissue of his classic Vintage watch, the Casio CA-500WEBF-1A.

Built on the basis of the original calculator watches, this proposal adopts an aesthetic that directly recalls the DeLorean.

And the silver box, with a polished finish, reminds us of Doc Brown’s car, the mechanism with which he managed to travel to the future.

On the buttons, Casio introduces small touches of color that simulate the light indicators on the temporary control panel.

Meanwhile, on the back side there is an engraving of the flux capacitor, the fictional component that made time travel possible.

The official Back to the Future logo appears on the metal buckle, and the set maintains the proportions of the original 1980s model.

These elements were adapted to preserve the recognizable look of the watch, but without altering its functionality, resulting in a product that translates the film’s imagery with the film’s most memorable visual details.
