40 years ago, a skateboard-wielding teenager and a mad scientist proved that time travel could be real. In 1985, “Volver al futuro” (“Back to the Future”) Not only did it change the history of cinema, but it also left a mark on pop culture that continues in every generation.

The revival arrives just to celebrate 40 years of the original premiere, under the direction of Robert Zemeckis and the production of Steven Spielberg. The film will be shown again on October 31, 2025as part of the global celebration organized by Universal Pictures.
Pre-sales will begin on September 26, and Cinépolis confirmed that there will be VIP screenings in cities such as Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Morelia and Querétaro.

- Starter: Laboratory scrap, some crispy chicken tenders with wing sauce.

Released in 1985, Back to the Future follows the story of Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), a 17-year-old boy who accidentally travels from 1985 to 1955 in a DeLorean turned into time machine by his eccentric friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd).

In the past, Marty must make sure his parents fall in love so as not to erase his own existence. Between temporal paradoxes, humor, and the unforgettable song “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News, the film became a global phenomenon, grossing more than $381 million with a budget of just $19 million.
Its success was such that it gave rise to a trilogy, an animated series, video games and even a theme park attraction. Even Ronald Reagan cited it in his 1986 State of the Union address.
