Arco Da Reze leads the American box office; understand

After the overwhelming performance of Demon Slayer: Infinite Castle at the global box office, now it’s time to Chainsaw Man: Arco da Reze show what you came for.

The film currently ranks number one at the American box office, grossing $17.2 million from 3,003 theaters in the United States.

The Black Phone 2 comes in second place, with US$13 million at the box office, followed closely by the adaptation of Colleen Hoover, If It Wasn’t For Youwhich has made $12.8 million to date.

Globally, the anime reached the US$108 million mark this weekend.

All about Chainsaw Man

Based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the adaptation is directed by Ryū Nakayama. The film was originally scheduled to arrive in Brazil on October 30, but was brought forward. Now, Chainsaw Man arrives in October 23. Read the series synopsis:

“Denji is a teenager who lives with Pochita, the Chainsaw Demon. Because of the debts he inherited from his father, he lives in poverty, exterminating other demons with Pochita to pay the bills. Until, one day, Denji is betrayed and dies. In his last moments of consciousness, he signs a contract with Pochita and is reborn as the Chainsaw Man, a human with the heart of a demon.”

The film’s cast features returning voice actors from the anime, including Kikunosuke Toya, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, Fairouz Ai, Mariya Ise, Karin Takahashi, Taku Tashiro, Kenjiro Tsuda, Shiori Izawa and more. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (who also worked on the anime and Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission) from a script by Hiroshi Seko (adapted, of course, from the manga of the same name).

Crunchyroll should launch this September Chainsaw Man – The Compilation, film divided into two parts that is a compilation of episodes from the first season of the anime.

Em Chainsaw Man – The Compilation: Parte I, Denji is a teenager who lives as a Demon Hunter. Aiming to pay off the debt inherited from his father, he begins hunting demons for the Yakuza with his friend Pochita, a “Chainsaw Demon”, while living a tragically poor life. When things couldn’t seem to get any worse, Denji is summoned by the Yakuza.

Already in Chainsaw Man – The Compilation: Parte IIknown as “Chainsaw Man” and fighting with an insane and out-of-control fighting style, Denji finally manages to defeat the “Demon of Eternity”. After the battle, the members of Public Security Special Demon Extermination Division 4 return to their everyday lives and hold a “welcome party” for the new recruits. During the party, Denji mentions the kiss Himeno promised him before the fight.
