Giant, Ford F-150 has a secret for surprising fuel consumption
I did the Ford F-150 consumption test on the road. I spent ten days with the pickup, and traveled 1,300 km mainly on duplicate highways, but also for simple lane stretches. Below you will check the result.
The Ford F-150 2025 is on sale in Brazil in two versions, both at the same price: R $ 560 thousand. Lariat stands out for the chrome details, while Lariat Black’s are black. The list of equipment is the same.
What was the consumption
I got the best consumption by running about 250 km on the Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways, between the interior of São Paulo and the state capital, using the economic mode of driving. At the end of the route, I got the mark of 8.7 km/l.
It is a better number than that disclosed by Inmetro, of 8.5 km/l. In addition, it greatly surpasses the consumption of RAM 1500, 7 km/l in road cycle. This model has a turbo six-cylinder propeller that, although more powerful, should theoretically be more efficient (is the result of the technology called downsizing).
