Sidney Prescott returns in ‘Scream 7’, but she is the unluckiest survivor in the world
En ‘Scream’, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) lives immersed in a true nightmare. Just a year after the murder of his mother, he becomes the main target of Ghostface, a serial killer who plunges the town of Woodsboro into a violent and unstoppable bloodletting. It is the beginning of a torment that continues for years and years.
Billy Loomis seemed like an attentive, if somewhat mischievous, boyfriend. Little did Sidney know that he was actually one of the psychopathic killers. who was hiding under the mask of Ghostface. That closeness with the victim was repeated on other occasions, because yes, Sidney survives time and again… but at what cost! And his family is not exactly exemplary.

The new killers, closer than ever
Ok, in ‘Scream 2′ the main killer was Billy Loomis’ mother, a mother who sought revenge. However, in ‘Scream 3’ Ghostface was Roman, Sidney Prescott’s long-lost brotherwho had lived without a maternal figure. When he tried to introduce himself to Maureen Prescott, he felt rejected, which is why he chose to change his profession from film director to assassin.
The story was still going to take a new turn in ‘Scream 4’. Having overcome the horror of the past, Sidney returns to Woodsboro to present his first book. As it could not be otherwise, the murders begin again. The surprise is that one of the people wearing the Ghostface suit is none other than Jill Roberts, Sidney’s cousin. Bad luck or family curse?
The gruesome story of this family is not over. In ‘Scream 7’ we will meet Tatum, Sidney’s daughter… who will surely receive a visit from a new Ghostface.
