The international press has already seen the suspense The Maid and first prints have been released. Check it out:

“The Maid is AMAZING. The first half embraces the exaggeration in the best possible way. It’s fun, stylish and absolutely hilarious, before taking a sharp and engaging turn that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney are phenomenal as two women who carry more secrets than they let on, and seeing them interact only adds to the fun. It also has that signature Paul Feig vibe. If you’re a fan of his films like Little One Please,” I think you’ll love this one. I have to say, it definitely has a Promising Young Woman vibe, which is one of the main reasons I liked it so much.” (Scott Menzel)

“The Maid is a wild ride!!! I loved every minute of it, Sydney and Amanda have incredible chemistry. Twist after twist, non-stop!!!” (Tyler Disney)

“I just watched a premiere of #TheHousemaid and, honestly, it exceeded my expectations in every way. I liked the movie much more than the book. Plus, Amanda Seyfried stole the show, she was incredible!” (Collider)

Millie (Sydney Sweeney) is a young woman going through difficulties who feels relieved at the chance of a new beginning as a maid for Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar), a wealthy couple. Soon, she discovers that her family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.

The film is directed by Paul Feig (A Small Favor, Bridesmaids), who also produces the film alongside Todd Lieberman, Carly Kleinbart Elter and Laura Fischer. In addition to Seyfried (Mamma Mia), Sweeney (Everyone But You) and Sklenar (That’s How It Ends), the film features Michele Morrone (365 Days). The script is by Rebecca Sonnenshine.
