‘Zootopia 2’ surpasses half a billion dollars at the box office and is about to make history
The debut exceeded initial expectations, which pointed to a global box office of around US$270 million. In the first few days, the film already grossed more than US$140 million, driven by impressive performance in China.
The Disney animation sequel follows Judy the rabbit and Nick the fox in a new investigation to catch Gary, a mysterious snake. Directed by Jared Bush (“Encanto”) and Byron Howard (“Bolt”).
