The Chevrolet Silverado EV premieres the affordable version LT in addition to the WT Max Range with almost 800 km of autonomy
While in Europe we still have few electric SUVs, in the United States there are still steps ahead. This year the electrical version of one of the country’s par excellence of opportunities has been launched and, facing 2025, will increase its offer to stop the two main customers’ concerns: autonomy and price.
Chevrolet launches the Silverado EV LT, a new access variant with 645 hp
- New LT finish for Chevrolet Silverado EV con 645 CV
- Access variant, without pneumatic suspension, but with 656 km of autonomy in EPA cycle
- Possibility of equipping a premium package with autonomous driving
- WT Max Range variant with almost 800 km of autonomy
If a few months ago we could know the RST version of the Chevrolet Silverado EV, Now the American brand offers the LT version as a new access finish. Despite being the access model, it has a fast load of 300 kW in CC, 18 -inch aluminum wheels (with 22 -inch optional wheels later, the RST carries 24 inches tires as standard), 11.3 -inch digital control box and 17.7 -inch multimedia screen.
Compared to 764 hp and 1,064 nm of the RST version, The LT will have ‘only’ 645 hp and 1,037 Nm, a capacity to drag up to 5,670 kg and load up to 816.5 kg in its rear. A premium package will also be offered, which includes, among other elements, the 22 -inch tires and the Super Cruise system, autonomous driving of Chevrolet. Its autonomy will be 656 km in EPA cycle (627 km if it equips the premium package). All versions use a scheme of two electric motors, one on each axis, being 4 × 4 traction.
The WT Max Range version will have almost 800 km of autonomy

Until now, the version of the Silverado EV with more autonomy was the RST Max Range with 740 km of autonomy (again, we talked about EPA cycle, which are usually 11% less than the approved figures in WLTP cycle). This will now change with the WT (Work Truck) Max Range, with an estimated autonomy of about 791 km EPA, 510 hp and 834 nm. Chevrolet has not specified the weight, but if we already talked about a 200 kWh battery and an approximate weight of 3,870 kg, it should be remembered that the WT version does not have the pneumatic suspension that masks that weight as in the RST.
In the range we also find the WT Extended Range versions (with 679 km of autonomy) and standard standardthis being the most affordable version with an autonomy yet to be confirmed. Silverado EV has a free height of 22.7 centimeters and its attack and exit angles are 21.7º and 22.9º. The RST version carries adaptive pneumatic suspension while the WT and LT use an independent four -wheeled suspension.
The access electric silvery will be cheaper with the WT Standard Range variant

Precisely this WT Standard Range version will be the one that will become the cheapest EV Silverado for a price of $ 57,095, about € 51,938.47 to change. In the case of the WT Max Range, the scale scale up to $ 77,795, € 70,768.94 according to the current currency change (October 2024), placing $ 8,300 above the WT Extended Range version.
On the other hand, the LT Extended Range (there is no standard ‘version in the LT and RST) will leave from $ 75,195 (€ 68,412.41), climbing up to 81,995 dollars (€ 74,599.05) with the premium package. Even so, it is a notable price jump compared to the RST, valued at $ 89,395 (€ 81,331.57) in its Extended Range version and $ 97,895 (€ 89,064.87) for the Max Range version.
