Netflix’s explosive action movie that’s dominating the TOP 10

The film Wave of Violencestarring Michael Jai White, debuted quietly on Netflixbut quickly surprised by reaching the top of the Brazilian ranking just one day after arriving in the catalog.

Released last Friday, the 28th, Onda de Violência dawned on Saturday, the 29th, in first place among the most watched films in the country, surpassing popular Christmas titles such as Feliz Assalto! and Bubbles of Love.

The production had already been shown on other platforms previously, but only with its debut on Netflix did it gain great prominence among the general public.

Tension-filled plot

The story follows Pete (Michael Jai White), an experienced hitman who decides to change his life and starts attending Workaholics Anonymous meetings.

The choice, seen as an attempt at emotional balance, ends up being interpreted as a threat by the bosses of the criminal organization he works for, especially Matteo Arcado (John Littlefield).

When they suspect that Pete may abandon the group or pose some risk, his superiors declare a deadly manhunt. The protagonist then becomes the target of other assassins, equally skilled and motivated by the bounty offered on his head. From then on, a frantic race for survival begins, marked by ambushes, brutal confrontations and constant tension.
