A New Day from the last days of filming in Basingstoke, UK. ~Marvel Universe 616

Filming at outdoor locations in the UK is believed to have already concluded this past week, meaning we probably won’t see any more leaked photos out there. As a result, a series of new (and probably last) images have emerged on social media, showing the spectacular costume that Peter Parker (Tom Holland), from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will wear in action next summer. It’s an incredible design, one that brings this Spider-Man closer to his comic book counterpart than ever before.

The curious thing is that in a given video we see Emmy winner Liza Colón-Zayas playing a police officer who speaks in this recently filmed scene from Spider-Man: A New Day and it is very likely that she is playing Jean DeWolff, a well-known character from the comics:

And we have extra photos with the last moments of the tank and helicopter on scene before filming ends in Basingstoke:

At the 0:58 mark in the player below, Spidey can be seen staggering, looking confused and holding his head before walking away. The prevailing theory among fans is that he was poisoned by Scorpion, as this is reminiscent of the web-slinger’s behavior in the Spider-Man video games after fighting Mac Gargan. Although Michael Mando was seen on set in the same prison uniform he wore in the Spider-Man: Homecoming post-credits scene, the expectation is that he will dress as the MCU’s Scorpion. The wall climber will also have to face the Punisher, the Hulk and Tombstone, among others.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton directs Spider-Man: A New Day from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Tom Holland leads a cast that also includes Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman and Liza Colón-Zayas. Thunderbolts* star Florence Pugh is also rumored to have joined the cast.
