A selection of the best Spanish films of the year star in a Christmas film series in this room in Chamberí
Christmas has arrived in Madrid. And, among the wide variety of activities for all audiences, such as taking a walk under the lights that decorate the streets, visiting the Christmas markets or skating on the ice rinks, what could be better than enjoying a good movie. Whether they are Christmas feature films or, as in this case, the best Spanish films of the year.
Christmas tradition of the SGAE Foundation, the Sala Berlanga will host a series of fundamental feature films of this course in terms of national production. Under the name ‘Christmas at the movies‘, these very personal stories will be shown in the cinema between the days December 23 and January 10, 2026.
This is the programming of the ‘Christmas in cinema’ series
During these two weeks, you will be able to enjoy a total of five feature filmswith tickets on sale both at the box office and online, for 3,50 € (plus management fees). These are the movies selected for the ‘Christmas in cinema’ cycle:
- ‘Sundays‘ (December 23 and 30, January 8 and 10).
- ‘My friend Eva‘ (December 26 and 27, January 3 and 8).
- ‘Maspalomas‘ (December 23 and 27, January 2 and 9).
- ‘Pilgrimage‘ (December 26 and 30, January 7 and 10).
- ‘Us‘ (January 2, 3, 7 and 9).
You will be able to enjoy a total of four screenings of the different feature films, which will take place in schedules from 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
