ALSO IN THE CAST LINO BANFI. THE FILM IS SET IN VIESTE (VIDEO) – Gargano Network

The trailer for “Oi vita mia”, the new film by Pio and Amedeo, arriving at the cinema on November 27th, has been released. The comedy duo from Foggia shared the video and the official poster of the feature film, shot in Vieste, on their Instagram profile.

For this new cinematic adventure, the two artists were able to count on the extraordinary participation of Lino Banfi, supported by a cast that includes Ester Pantano, Cristina Marino, Marina Lupo, Adriana De Meo and Emanuele La Torre.

The film, written by Pio and Amedeo together with Emanuele Licitra, is an Our Films and PiperFilm production in collaboration with Netflix. In the story, Pio manages a recovery community for difficult kids, while Amedeo runs a retirement home. The first faces a relationship in crisis, the second a rebellious teenage daughter.

Circumstances will force them to live under the same roof, between forgetful elderly people and turbulent young people: a chaotic microcosm where there is no shortage of clashes, unwanted advice and paradoxical situations. Between bills to pay and padel games, the two will find a way to put their lives back in order and rediscover the value of friendship and sharing.

In the trailer, Lino Banfi summarizes the spirit of the film with a phrase that sounds like an invitation: «Find yourselves: only together can you create something unique, unite young and old, memories and dreams.»

On social media, Pio and Amedeo commented on the project like this: «For us it is a very important step, but the most beautiful thing is that, even at the cinema, we were finally free. Free to have fun, and we hope that this freedom reaches you too.” The two then gave special thanks to “an extraordinary Lino Banfi, who we had the honor of directing”.
