What is the story of the new Anaconda?

The new film involves a group of friends suffering from a midlife crisis. To get out of it, they decide to finally make their dream come true and reboot their favorite film from their youth: Anaconda. When they arrive in the forest, they end up having to face real natural disasters, violent criminals, and obviously, giant snakes.

Jack Black will play a former director, a man stuck in his job as a wedding videographer, while Paul Rudd will play an actor who did a stint on a police show, but sees his Hollywood dreams slipping further and further away.

Already Selton Mello is cast as an animal tamer who serves as a guide to take them through the Amazon jungle, in search of a snake, after the snake that the duo would use in the film dies in an accident.

Thandie Newton e Steve Zahn are other childhood friends who join the two on the adventure, helping in the production of this new version of Anacondawhich was filmed in Australia, where it received support from the Queensland Government through the Screen Queensland Production Attraction Strategy.

The film’s direction is Tom Gormicanresponsible for the comedy The Weight of Talentwhere Nicolas Cage interprets itself.

A Fully Formed, de Brad Fuller e Andrew Formis producing the film, which will be released by Sony Pictures with a release date of December 25th in cinemas in Brazil.
