Avatar 3 and Wicked 2 are pre-nominated for an Oscar for visual effects; see list
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed this Thursday (27) the 20 films that remain in the running for the Best Visual Effects award at the 2026 Oscars.
The list brings together some of the biggest productions of the year, including Avatar: Fire and Ash, Wicked: Parte 2 e Sinnersin addition to blockbusters such as Fantastic Four: Getting Started e Superman.

The category finalists will be announced on January 22, along with the other nominations for the 98th Academy Awards.
