Avengers: Doomsday | Andrew Garfield denies he will be in the film
In participation of the board Actually Me and GQ, Andrew Garfield answered some questions from fans, including whether or not he will be in Vingadores: Doomsday. And it looks like he won’t be in the film.
A fan comment asked Garfield: “Will Tobey and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men be in Avengers: Doomsday too?”. The actor responded bluntly: “No, not at all,” said the actor. However, the last time Garfield denied being in a feature film, he ended up appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Marvel has already confirmed the main cast names for the new film, in one of the biggest meetings of MCU stars ever held. From the previous films of Avengers, return: Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Winston Duke as M’Baku and Letitia Wright as Black Panther. Tom Hiddleston also returns as Loki.
Of characters introduced post-Avengers: Endgame – in phases 4 and 5 of the MCU – we have Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, the entire new Fantastic Four (Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing) and almost the entire cast of Thunderbolts* (Florence Pugh as Yelena, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, David Harbor as Red Guardian, Hanah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Lewis Pullman as Bob the Sentinel).
In a live cast announcement, there was also the big surprise of the film so far: the return of the classic X-Men from the old Fox films, including Patrick Stewart as Professor Deadpool & Wolverine, Channing Tatum como Gambit.
The villain of the story, meanwhile, will be Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Vingadores: Doomsday will be directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo (Completed), and screenplay by Michael Waldron (Loki) e Stephen McFreely (Completed).
The debut of Vingadores: Doomsday was set for December 18, 2026 in Brazil, preparing the ground for Avengers: Secret Wars em 2027.
