Behind the scenes – Disney+ shows new documentary
Anyone who has always wondered how the fantastic world of Pandora is created will soon get an insight. Disney+ has announced a two-part documentary that will be shown starting November 7, 2025. “Fire And Water: Making The Avatar Films” gives an insight into the making of “Avatar: The Way of Water” and shows the first excerpts from the upcoming “Avatar: Fire and Ash”.
James Cameron is known for always setting new technical standards. The first two Avatar films each grossed over $2 billion worldwide and are among the most successful films of all time. Incidentally, Cameron is the only director to have achieved this milestone three times – “Titanic” completed the trio.
The next part of the series “Avatar: Fire and Ash” hits theaters on December 19th, just in time for the holiday season. But fans will have to be patient – parts 4 and 5 are not planned until the 2029 and 2031 Christmas seasons.
