Cheaper electric car in the world can arrive in Brazil in 2025

Chinese model S1-PRO has autonomy of 70 km and promises to revolutionize urban mobility

The S1-PRO, electrical model of Chinese manufacturer Changli, can start circulating in Brazil in 2025. Considered the cheapest car in the world, the vehicle costs about $ 7,000 and stands out for its compact size and proposal aimed at urban mobility. With only 2.4 meters long, the model accommodates up to three passengers, has 2.5 kW engine, a top speed of 45 km/he autonomy of up to 70 km per load.

Complete recharge takes between 7 and 10 hours, which makes S1-pro adequate for short routes and daily use in urban centers. The model is classified as an electric quadricycle and is already a subject in social networks for raising the accessibility debate and the future of mobility in cities. In addition to the affordable price – lower than many cell phones – the car proposes a sustainable alternative for everyday displacements.

Despite the growing interest, the use of S1-Pro still depends on specific traffic regulations in each country. In Brazil, its release in the streets will require evaluation of safety standards. Still, the model signals a new trend for the automotive sector: affordable, electrical vehicles focused on the reality of large cities.
