The long-awaited sequel to the psychological horror Black Phone (The Black Phone 2) hit theaters on October 16, promising to expand the dark universe created by Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange) e C. Robert Cargill (Between Mountains). The film takes up the story of the teenager Finney Blake (Mason Thames), now trying to rebuild his life after escaping the mysterious kidnapper known as “The Terrorist”. But when new disappearances happen again in the city, Finney needs to confront the echoes of his past again — and the phone, once again, starts ringing.
The official soundtrack is signed by Atticus Derricksonson of the director and newcomer to feature film soundtracks. The composer delivers 25 instrumental tracks that oscillate between atmospheric suspense and psychological terror, with metallic timbres, distorted synths and dense strings — creating a sonic texture that works both on and off screen.
