Chevrolet creates caramel Tracker in honor of the national icon dog

A Chevrolet presented an unusual initiative that combines a Brazilian meme that became a film and social engagement with the public: the Tracker Caramel. This is an exclusive version of the compact SUV inspired by the color of mixed breed dogs (SRD) that have become a symbol of Brazilian popular culture. The automotive project has a charitable nature, with the auction of vehicle intended for animal adoption campaigns.

According to GM, the unprecedented color was developed from 22,918 photos of dogs sent by tutors from all over the country. The mixture resulted in a tone called “the most Brazilian caramel of all”.

The action is part of a joint campaign between Chevrolet ea Netflixwhich released the film “Caramelo”, starring Rafael Vitti. In the film, the actor plays a chef who sees his routine transformed after meeting a stray dog ​​— the same one that inspires the SUV project. The brand also created a video with the creation of the model (see below).

The Tracker Caramelo will be sold in an online auction with bidding until October 31, 2025. According to Chevrolet, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Instituto Caramelo, an NGO that works to protect animal rights. Until the production of this report, the bid was in R$ 190 mil.

O Chevrolet Tracker Caramelo 2026 inspired by the dog is based on the Premier version of the compact SUV, one of the most complete. The set follows the visual standard already adopted in models such as Spin e S10offering more intuitive commands and expanded connectivity.

The version Premier 1.2 Turbo AT is equipped with 1.2 turbo flex engine with up to 141 hp e 22.9 kgfm of torque. The exchange rate is six speed automatic and front-wheel drive. According to brand data, the Tracker weighs 1.265 kg and has 393 liter trunkreaching 1,278 liters with the rear seats folded down.
