Chevrolet launches Silverado 2025 with item that the F-150 lost

Launched in August last year, Chevrolet Silverado is now receiving the year 2025 for the Brazilian market. Without major mechanical changes, equipment or visual, the premieres were a new bucket lid, more flexible in use, and also another body painting option: Shark Silver, which joins Summit white, global black and Radiant Red already offered.

Going to the bucket, Silverado 2025 now has the lid with the system called Multi-Flex. It has been offered in the US for a few years and has now been to our market. Basically, it has different types of opening for the lid, diversifying its functions besides opening and closing the bucket. The item enters the list of standard equipment after its main rival, the Ford F-150have lost the ladder function that it brought. Chevrolet highlighted 6 main system functions:

• Cargo Extender – Allows the safe transport of certain objects that go beyond the bucket area, preventing them from sliding out of the vehicle.
• Easy access to bucket – The central part of the lid can be lowered, practically by halving the distance to the edge of the load compartment.
• Access Step – It is possible to lower a ladder to climb the bucket with more ergonomics. The structure supports up to 170 kg and also has a tilting railing.
• Auxiliary Table – The central part of the lid can also be erected, thus creating a bench flat support for laptop support, tools and even drinks.
• Cargo Support – Helps keep tilted items that go beyond the length of the load compartment, better protecting both objects and bucket.
• Conventional Opening – The lid goes down to 90º, creates a surface aligned with the bucket floor and features weight relief system, safety strips and bodywork protection.

Chevrolet Silverado 2025 follows 1,781 liters of volumetric capacity in the bucket. The pickup has special cameras for monitoring the transported items, twelve fixing hooks inside, LED lighting points and a 220V outlet for connecting electrical devices up to 400W.

The mechanics have not been changed and the large pickup has been equipped with the same engine since its launch: the 5.3 V8 gasoline with 360 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 52.9 kgfm of torque at 4,100 rpm. The gearbox is always 10 -speed automatic, while intelligent traction can distribute the force between the four wheels according to the type of terrain and load condition. The set also has reduced, blocking differential and electronic slope and slope control, as well as three different driving modes (off-road, normal and sports).

Nova Chevrolet Silverado 2025: The Price

Although the year 2025 did not bring a radical change in the pickup, it became more expensive. The Chevrolet website announces Silverado Nova for $ 548,090. This represents a readjustment of R $ 8,100 over the 539,990s previously charged, and a total of R $ 28,100 more about the value announced in the pre-sale of the model when it debuted in August 2023.
