Chevrolet Silverado arrives in Argentina in version that we do not have

As we announced a few days ago, Chevrolet presented in Brazil the 2025 line of the Fullsize Silverado pickup, which continues to offer only the high country version, known to be the most refined version of the pickup, with many chrome on the front grid, rim 20 wheels, rearview mirrors and door handles.

But our neighbors from Argentina can rejoice, as besides the luxurious version, Picapona will be offered in the Z71Trail Boss version, with a more adventurous look, based on the LT LT version. Both will arrive via importation of Mexico.

The mechanics have not been changed and the large pickup is equipped with the same engine as here: the 5.3 V8 Vortec the 360 horsepower gasoline at 5,600 rpm and 52.9 kgfm of torque at 4,100 rpm. The gearbox is always 10 -speed automatic, while intelligent traction can distribute the force between the four wheels according to the type of terrain and load condition. The set also has reduced, blocking differential and electronic slope and slope control, as well as three different driving modes (off-road, normal and sports).

Despite being offered now, the pickup arrived late to the country, as it was first announced in 2019. However, political changes and the instability of the Argentine weight – besides the pandemic – changed Chevrolet’s plans there.

Among the differences of the Boss Trail version with the Z71 package, there is a new set of suspension with monotubo shock absorbers, and reinforced to raise the pickup to approximately 5 cm (2 inches). In the aesthetic part, the pickup brings darkened items, as well as the S10 ZR1. Otherwise, all the same.
