Chevrolet Silverado has new readjustment and exceeds Ford F-150 price
Three manufacturers saw a market slice and started selling their full size pickup trucks in Brazil: Ford, with F-150, RAM bringing the 1500, 2500 and 3500 models, as well as Chevrolet Silverado, officially launched in November 2023.
Equal, only the name, since the current model is completely different from the homonymous Silverade marketed between 1997 and 2001. Initially, in the pre-sale phase, the model cost $ 519,990.
In November last year, we published that Chevrolet Silverado High Country underwent an increase, raising the price to $ 548,090. Now, in the first month of 2025, the Full Size truck has gained a new value.
According to the jet price report, Chevrolet Silverado started to cost $ 566,190 (value already practiced on the manufacturer’s website). That is, an increase of R $ 18,100 over the previous amount of R $ 548,090 and R $ 46,200 compared to the pre-sale price of R $ 519,990.
This new price has made Chevrolet Silverado High Country (nomenclature also used in SUV Trailblazer) more expensive than the Ford F-150 Lariat and Lariat Black, both for $ 519,990. However, it is still slightly more affordable than the RAM 1500 Laramie (starting at R $ 569,990) and the Laramie Night Edition (R $ 579,990), which debuted visual changes accompanied by the new six -cylinder engine 3.0 biturbo, with 426 hp and 64.8 kgfm.

Under the hood of Chevrolet Silverado
Unlike rival, Silverado, as well as the Ford F-150, uses a V8 engine. Under the hood of the tie brand truck, is a 5.3 liters V8 (L84 code) with cylinder deactivation system according to demand, coupled with a ten -speed automatic transmission.
The union of this set provides 360 hp and 52.9 kgfm, ensuring acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and top speed of 180 km/h. According to the Inmetro Vehicle Labeling Program, the consumption of Chevrolet Silverado High Country is 6.0 km/l in the city and 7.2 km/l on road routes.

One of the highlights of the utility is the volumetric capacity of the bucket, with 1,781 liters (716 kg of load), while the dimensions transmit 5.91 m long, 2.06 m wide, 1.94 m high and 3.74 m wheelbase.
