The film is directed by Eduardo Vaisman e Rodrigo Van Der Put.
Flavia Lins e Silvawho wrote the original children’s novel, takes on the role of screenwriter alongside João Costa Van Hombeeck.
Na trama…
Pilar is a curious and exploring young woman who travels to the Amazon rainforest through a magical network that was a gift from her grandfather. There, she meets Maiara, a riverside girl whose community was destroyed. Amidst a lot of adventure, with the help of folklore beings, Pilar, her cat Samba and her friends embark on the mission to find Maiara’s family and stop the deforestation of the forest.
Lina Flor (Pilar), Miguel Soares (Breno), Sophia Ataíde (Maiara) and Thúlio Naab (Bira) star in the film.
