Classic from the 80s, “Back to the Future” returns to the big screen in Roraima: tickets are now on pre-sale
One of the most iconic films in cinema history is back on screen. “Back to the Future”, the 1985 classic directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg, returns in a special screening in Roraima cinemas in honor of the 40th anniversary of its release, bringing nostalgia to those who lived at the time and a new opportunity for younger audiences to experience the adventure that marked generations.
In the plot, we follow Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, a typical teenager from the 1980s who ends up being accidentally sent to the year 1955. Time travel happens thanks to a machine created by the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd, who uses nothing less than a DeLorean, today an absolute symbol of pop culture.
In the past, Marty must deal with a mission as unexpected as it is risky: making his own parents fall in love, thus guaranteeing his existence in the future. While trying not to alter the timeline too much, he finds himself in comical, tense and exciting situations that made the film a staple of the science fiction adventure genre.
