‘Die, Love’, with Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, gets teaser; watch

MUBI and Paris Filmes released this Friday, September 5th, the official teaser for the film Die, Lovedirected by Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin) and starring Jennifer Lawrence (franchise Hunger Games) e Robert Pattinson (The Batman).

What is the story about?

Counting on Martin Scorsese (The Departed) between the producers and based on the novel of the same name by Ariana Harwiczto plot Die, My Love follows a woman (Lawrence) who is experiencing postpartum psychosis while dealing with complexities involving her husband (Pattinson).

“The heart of this story focuses on the complexity of love and how it can change and transform over time. I tried to make it realistic, human, spontaneous and, at times, funny, capturing the moments that seem small but carry a lot of weight. The film is for anyone who has ever been in a relationship — there is pain and beauty in vulnerability”, adds the director and screenwriter Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin).

Who is in the cast?

In addition to the duo, the cast also includes the actor LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah), who will be the lover of Lawrencewhile the cast is still made up of Sissy Spacek (Carrie the Stranger) e Nick Nolte (Cape Fear).

When does it debut Die, Love?

Based on the book of the same name by Ariana Harwiczthe psychological thriller will be distributed in cinemas across Brazil on November 27th, in a partnership between Paris Filmes and MUBI. Check out the teaser:
