Doomsday, Marvel shares the first teaser confirming an expected return

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have to wait until December 16, 2026 before witnessing the new superhero adventure.

After the rumors that appeared online thanks to the presence of the teaser before some screenings of Avatar: Fire and AshMarvel Studios shared the video online that confirms a long awaited return in the movie Avengers: Doomsday.
The appointment for fans has been set in Italy for December 16, 2026 and fans will therefore have to wait a year before discovering the details of the story brought to theaters by the Russo brothers.

The first of teaser trailer made to be screened before the screenings of the new chapter of the saga created by James Cameron is dedicated to Captain America – Steve Rogers. Chris Evans’ character is shown riding home on his motorbike. Once he enters his home he picks up his son.

The scenes included in the video also confirm that the hero, who left the scene in Avengers: Endgame, has married, considering that a close-up of his hand shows the wedding ring on the finger.

Currently, the official plot of the long-awaited film which marks the return of the superhero team has not been revealed. Some rumors that have emerged online in recent weeks seemed to have revealed the new composition of the Avengers team, even if for now there is nothing official.

Among the returns that could take place on the big screen, in addition to the now confirmed one of Evans in the part of Steve Rogers, there are those of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, who played Spider-Man before Tom Holland, or Josh Brolin who could reprise the part of Thanos.
All that remains is to wait to find out how the former Captain America will return to action and how he will fit into the group that will have to face the villain played by Robert Downey Jr.

Among the interpreters already confirmed there are Chris Hemsworth, the stars of the recent Fantastic Four: Beginnings, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. There will also be Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Lewis Pullman, Simu Liu, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Danny Ramirez.
