The day has come to check out what the best films and series coming to cinemas and streaming platforms this week. Among the selected highlights are comedy, action, drama, suspense and much more, which promise to be part of your rest in front of the sofa or in front of the screen.

The first highlight goes to A Day Out of ControlPrime Video’s newest film. The second season of the series also premieres this week. A Day Out of Control (12/11)

The new action comedy A Day Out of Control tells the story of Brian (Kevin James)a recently unemployed accountant who is now a full-time father, dedicating his life to caring for his son. However, the relationship that involved talking and letting their children play together quickly turns into chaos. Before I could do anything, Brian finds himself persecuted alongside his new friend by a group of mercenaries, and now he needs to do everything to survive.

This week also features the second season of the series Palm Royalefrom Apple TV. Based on a book by Juliet McDaniel, the plot tells the story of Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig), a woman who dreams of being recognized in Palm Beach’s high society.

Until the Last Samurai (11/13)

The protagonist of the plot is Shujiro Saga (Junichi Okada)who only enters the game for a chance to save his sick family. The series explores themes such as the fight for survival, loyalty and sacrifices made in search of a decent life in Japan at the time.

A Very Jonas Brothers Christmas (11/14)

In the Christmas movie A Very Jonas Brothers Christmaswe follow Kevin, Joe and Nick on an adventure to return home. After performing in London, the band has to race against time to get to New York in time to celebrate the date.

Finally, the film finally hits theaters Eddingtonanother work by Ari Aster. The plot takes place in May 2020, during the pandemic, when the Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) and the city’s mayor, Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal)they get into a disagreement, transforming the lives of the city’s inhabitants into chaos.

In the midst of these conflicts, neighbors are pitted against each other, causing the town, called Eddington, stop being peaceful like before to become a big mess.
