First images of Toy Story 5 revealed

The expectation is reignited among animated film fans with the revelation of the first images of Toy story 5.

After years of speculation about the return of Woody, Buzz and company, the famous animation film studio, Pixar, and the American entertainment conglomerate, Disney, have revealed the first glimpses of this new installment, generating an infinite number of emotions and theories among the public.

Although they are scarce so far, the new images have already sparked nostalgia and curiosity, showing familiar settings and some of the production company’s most beloved characters, which promise to expand the universe of the franchise.

In this installment the villain will be a tablet called Lilypad, which has other concepts of Bonnie’s needs.

One of the most anticipated

In the midst of this anticipation, Toy story 5 is already emerging as one of the most anticipated releases of 2026, with the difficult task of honoring the legacy that has marked entire generations.

The first official images of the iconic characters Buzz Lightyear and Woody have gone viral through social networks. In these you can see the classic protagonists almost identical to the previous installments, except for two small details: Woody does not wear his typical star-shaped medal, after giving it to Jessie at the end of Toy story 4, and Buzz brings a new stamp, which is a gold star over his “Lightyear” logo.

Although there is not much information yet about the new installment of Toy Story, which will hit the big screen on June 19, 2026, it has been revealed that the main narrative of the film will revolve around the current concern about the excessive use that children make of electronic devices and technology, above physical play and imagination.

Part of the conceptual art that has been published regarding this sequel to the renowned franchise has revealed that the main antagonist of the story will be Lilypad, an electronic tablet.
