Like every year, the Paradiso cinema, Aunay-sur-Odon (Les Monts d’Aunay), in the Calvadoswill participate in the national operation “ Doc Month ».
During which five sessions will be organized there during the month of November 2025, all at single price of €4.30.
The program for Doc Month in Aunay-sur-Odon
- Sunday November 9 at 5 p.m.: “Lumière, the adventure continues”, by Thierry Fremeaux. The screening will be followed by a meeting with Benjamin Coquenet, film historian, who will decipher these images from the beginnings of cinema.
- Saturday November 15 at 5 p.m.: “Château rouge”, by Hélène Milano. “This documentary is offered in association with Familles Rurales. It was chosen by young people from the Aunay leisure center, who selected it after watching a selection of three films offered by the Paradiso cinema. The young people also produced an animation that they will present after the screening, with the participation of an advisor from the Maison Locale du Bocage au Bessin,” explains François Carro, president of the cinema association.
- Thursday November 20 at 8:45 p.m.: “My stolen planet”, in VOST, by Farahnaz Sharifi. The screening will be followed by an analysis of the film by Bamchade Pourvall, doctor of cinema, specialist in Iranian cinema.
- Saturday November 22 at 5:30 p.m.: “Blood and mud”, by Jean-Gabriel Leynaud. The screening will be followed by an exchange with Clémence Auzary, doctoral student and Congo specialist, co-creator of the podcast Parlons au Congo.
- Sunday November 30 : “The migratory people”, by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud. The screening will be followed by a meeting with Hervé Voisin, amateur ornithologist who will introduce you to the birds of Normandy.
