Ford Ranger Race Truck, debuts with V6 Biturbo engine and makes us dream of a new wolf version

Ford officially presented its new Ford Ranger of competition; A simple cabin variant that made its debut in the street circuit of Bangsaen, Thailand. This model is part of the Ford Thailand Racing program (FTR) and will compete in the 2025 Season of Thailand Super Series, one of the most important championships in the Asian country.


The unit, identified with number 3, was piloted by the pilot Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik. Despite some inconveniences during its premiere on the track, Stuvik managed to climb positions and ended at 15, surpassing seven rivals. The brand highlighted the performance of the technical team and the ability to recover the vehicle in demanding conditions.



The heart of this Ford Ranger of competition is a 3.0 -liter V6 EcoBoost engine with double turbocharger. At the mechanical level, it is distinguished by a suspension developed specifically for track, an optimized ventilation system and significant modifications in the body. Visually, it incorporates a large front splitter, widened splashes, side skirts, rear spoiler and an air intake in the chest.


Ford’s participation in competitions with Ranger is not new in Thailanda market where variants are even offered that are not available in other countries, such as regular cabin or MS-RT sports focused on urban performance.
