Ford Serie F, the record pick-up
ROME – Almost half a century in a row (45 years to be precise) on the highest step of sales in the US market. It is the record of the Ford Serie F, the famous pick-up of the American giant that since 1976 has undergone the first place in the motherland market. And perhaps it is the only case in which the same machine is presented in fourteen generations with the same name: the last time took place on June 25, 2020, when the fourteenth generation was shown with a streaming event. The first was instead in 1948, when Ford presented the vehicle that retired a line of trucks already produced for seven years.
From January to November this year, the Sales of the Serie F reached 663,508 units, and a quarter of its buyers – explain to Casamadre – are aged between 18 and 35 years.
