‘Frankenstein’: Kate Hawley Explores the Incredible COSTUMES in Guillermo del Toro’s New Film

‘Frankenstein‘, adaptation directed by Guillermo del Toro (‘The Shape of Water’), had special screenings at the 49th São Paulo Exhibition and is now available in the catalog of Netflix.

The feature film, starring Oscar Isaac (‘Moon Knight’) and Jacob Elordi (‘Euphoria’), won solid 86% approval rate Rotten Tomatoes and reached first place in rankings of the platform in more than 72 countries.

And, taking us behind the scenes of the ambitious project, Netflix released an unprecedented promotional video in which the skilled Kate Hawleyknown for her work in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ e ‘Scarlet Hill’explores the construction of the film’s incredible costumes.

The film had an estimated budget of US$120 million.

“This movie has been on my mind since I was a kid. I’ve been trying to direct it for over 20 years. Some people think I’m a little obsessed with ‘Frankenstein,’ and they’re probably right. Over the decades, the character has melded with my mind that his story is basically an autobiography. It doesn’t get more personal than that,” declared the director.
