Gabby’s Magical House film opens in September

Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in September 2025, the hit animation “Gabby’s Magic House” It will become a live-action film, which will mix 3D drawings with real characters.

In the story, Gabby loses her prized dollhouse to an eccentric cat while on a trip with her grandmother, and the pair embark on a real-world adventure to save the dollhouse and Gabby’s feline friends.

The villain is played by Christian Wiig, who resembles Cruella from 101 Dalmatas, but she is a fan of toy cats, which leads her to want to steal everything from Gabby.

In the film, the Cuban singer and actress Gloria Stephan will play the protagonist’s mother. Laila Lockhart Kraner will once again play the lead role in the new story executively produced by show creators Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey.

Ryan Crego (Arlo the Alligator Boy) is directing, with Steven Schweickart (Kung Fu Panda 4) attached to produce.

Since its premiere in 2021, the show has consistently been among the top 10 most-watched TV shows on Netflix in 57 countries.

It has also expanded into a bonafide franchise, with toys, YouTube content, publications, home and apparel products, apps, theme parks and live events on the market and generating considerable revenue.
