This year too the editorial team has selected one for you nomination list from which you can choose your favorites.
Naturally it is not mandatory express your preference for all categories, you can focus only on the categories that are closest to your heart. The unique categories for which it is mandatory to express one’s preference are those for the Best Film and the Best TV Series of the year and those for the most anticipated films and TV series of 2026.
Voting opens today, January 8th, and will end on Thursday January 15th
. The winners will be announced on Friday 16 January.
Who will win this year?
Thanks to the Movieplayer Awards, our readers can also participate in the “awards season”, electing their favorite among One battle after another e The sinners, hottest titles of the year with a view to prizes or to prefer the disengagement and the spectacle of F1, a blockbuster which has seen a Brad Pitt in great shape as a Formula One driver returning to racing, not to mention thestainless Tom Cruisestar of yet another (and final?) Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
As anticipated by our review of The Cities of the Plain, Francesco Sossai’s revelation film could aspire to the recognition of our readers, but to compete for the prize as best Italian title there are the intense Five secondsnew work by Paolo Virzì, the ironic _the masterwith an unforgettable Pierfrancesco Favinoand Paolo Strippoli’s distressing horror The Valley of Smiles.
Even on the television side you are spoiled for choice. We bet that many viewers will turn to the creator’s new series Breaking Bad Vince Gilligan, who we talked about in our review of Pluribus, while drama lovers will prefer the chilling English Netflix series Adolescence. Lovers of history and Luca Marinelli will vote for the acclaimed M. The son of the century while those who prefer the feeling and love stories will favor the acclaimed Franco-Spanish series by Rodrigo Sorogoyen Ten New Years Eve. In short, there is something for all tastes so vote, vote, vote! And remember that you only have until January 15th.
