Interreligious event at the Sé Cathedral marks 50 years since the death of journalist Vladimir Herzog in São Paulo
Five decades later, the new act pays homage to Herzog and all the victims of the military dictatorship, bringing together religious leaders, family members, artists, parliamentarians and authorities. The welcome began at 7pm, with a performance by the Luther King Choir, followed by inter-religious demonstrations with the presence of Dom Odilo Pedro Scherer, Reverend Anita Wright, daughter of Jaime Wright, and Rabbi Ruben Sternschein.
