IZA releases song “Doce Feito Caramelo” for Netflix film
The singer and songwriter BEHIND last Friday (10) released the music video for the song “Sweet Made Caramel“, official track from the Brazilian film “Caramelo”, which premiered on Netflix on October 8th.
The song, composed by IZA herself in partnership with Jenni Mosello e Pedro Breastwas created especially for the feature film and seeks to translate into melody the emotional connection between dogs and humans, a central theme of the film’s narrative. The film production, directed by Diego Freitasis starred by the actor Rafael Vitti and by the adorable mutt peanut caramel.
The choice of BEHIND to sign the film’s soundtrack reinforces the trend of rapprochement between big names in Brazilian music and national audiovisual productions. THE Netflix has invested in local content, and “Caramelo” joins other recently successful Brazilian productions on the platform.
Recorded in the state of São Paulo, “Caramelo” pays homage to the iconic caramel mongrel, one of the greatest symbols of Brazilian culture. The film, which is now available on Netflix in 190 countries, celebrates the transformative power of encounters and the unique connection between humans and their pets.
The cast also includes Arianne Botelho, Noemia Oliveira, Ademara, Kelzy Ecard, Bruno Vinicius, Roger Gobeth, Olívia Araujo, Cristina Pereira and Carolina Ferraz. The production is signed by Migdal Films in partnership with Netflix.
