Jim Carrey as Freddy Krueger? This is what we know

A director of the saga gave his blessing to the beloved actor.

In his words, there is only one Freddy, and that is Robert Englund, who played him several decades ago. However, he is aware that Hollywood does not let its most successful stories rest, which is why he even dared to propose a “replacement.”
