The Brazilian Ministry of Justice announced through the Official Gazette of the Union that the film received the indicative rating 18+ for bringing “sexual content, legal drugs and extreme violence”.

Children under 16 cannot watch the film, even if they are accompanied by a guardian.

Based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimotothe film will be released in national cinemas on October 23rd.

Tatsuya Yoshihara is responsible for directing, based on a script signed by Hiroshi Sek (‘Attack on Titan’).

Denji is a teenager who lives with Pochita, the Chainsaw Demon. Due to the debts he inherited from his father, he lives in poverty, exterminating other demons with Pochita to pay the bills.

Until, one day, Denji is betrayed and dies. In his last moments of consciousness, he forms a contract with Pochita and is reborn as the Chainsaw Man – a human with the heart of a demon.”
