Leaked deleted scene from Young Avengers against Kang
Avengers 5 will no longer be Kang Dynasty and this is not new today. However, it is only now that Marvel has really turned the page that some details of the original plans are being revealed.
After all, screenwriter Michael Waldron ended up revealing a very interesting scene that we would see in the original version of the film.
Waldron was the screenwriter for season 1 of Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And he was in charge of writing the script for Secret Wars and helping screenwriter Jeff Loveness on Kang Dynasty.
Recently, Waldron revealed that he and Loveness came up with an entire sequence where the Young Avengers would face a Variant of Kang.
They would defeat this version of the villain, but here’s a little twist.
Original scene of the Young Avengers against Kang
Check out the description of the scene, made by Waldron himself:
“They were so happy about it (defeating a Kang)… Only to discover that this particular Kang was carrying a card that asked them to be Patient with him.
It was his first day as a Kang. And then they would be very upset. I think it would be the lizard Kang from the end of Kang Dynasty? I don’t know.”
So, not only were the Young Avengers CONFIRMED in the film, but we would have a great joke about the variety of Kangs and their power levels.
Most likely, the film would play with the difficulty for newcomers of defeating a variant of the Conqueror. Only to discover that it would be the weakest of all.
Anyway, here’s an idea that could turn into a really fun moment! Will we see something like this from now on?
