Lord of the Rings cast reunites after 25 years of film – 01/10/2026 – Illustrated
Part of the cast of “The Lord of the Rings”, one of the most important sagas in cinema, got together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the first film, “The Fellowship of the Ring”.
Five actors appear on the cover of this month’s British magazine Empire. They are Elijah Wood, who played the protagonist Frodo, Sean Austin, who played Sam, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd, who played Merry and Pippin, and, finally, Ian McKellen, who played the wizard Gandalf.
In the comments of Empire’s Instagram post, McKellen asks fans to come together to celebrate the milestone.
In São Paulo, the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings” will be re-screened in cinemas from the Cinemark, Cine Araújo, Cinépolis, Cinesystem, Espaço Petrobras, Kinoplex and UCI chains. The return takes place from January 22nd to 24th, one film per day.
